The opening took place on April 10th. The Center for Business Development is a new promising direction for the development of our university, whose tasks will be to identify and develop the entrepreneurial potential of our students, graduates and university staff, to assist and support the creation of small businesses.


The director Pavel Mikheyev addressed the audience with a welcoming speech."We are starting an important thing here," he stressed. "Today, simply having ideas, products, programs is not enough; you need to be able to sell your products. Thus, the academic council at the last meeting supported the initiative of the Faculty of Business and Social Technologies to create a Business Development Center at our university. We think that one of the important tasks of the centre will be the training for the implementation of our scientific developments and securing income outside proposed budget.


The President of the Novocherkassk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Marina Noskova, told of the history of the introduction of such chambers in Russia, their functions and tasks, and also assured that the organisation is ready to share their experience with and provide full support to the new center.In addition, for the active participation in educating future professionals, the introduction of innovative elements in educational programs, she presented the Institute Director Pavel Mikheev with a certificate of honor from the board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the business community of Novocherkassk.
The head of the Novocherkassk Chamber of Commerce and Industry Entrepreneurship Support Center Elvira Krynichna explored in details the services provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.The director of the International Educational University "MFC" in Novocherkassk Nadezhda Kosorotova expressed their readiness for cooperation with the Centre. She stressed that the MFC and the institute have a long history together, as many graduates of our university work at this organisation.With respect to business development, it was impossible not to appeal to the business community. The director of LLC "LC N-TRANS" Denis Mikhienkov told about his experience in business.A representative of the Youth Parliament at the City Duma, a graduate of our university Ekaterina Orlova, also welcomed the participants. She spoke of the federal project "You, the entrepreneur".

Marina Kaplina, Head of the Center, Associate Professor of the Economics Department at Donskoy State Agrarian University, told about the activities of the business development centre that will be held this year. One of the first such events was a competition among students for the best business plan.

"The more entrepreneurial structures there are, the better will be the development of the economy of our city, the region and the country as a whole," said Marina Sergeyevna. "At present, business development is not going at such a pace as desired, and one of the reasons is low awareness of citizens at the business creation stage. Therefore, among the tasks of our centre are the popularisation and formation of entrepreneurial and managerial skills among young people, and increasing financial literacy.

For the victory in the competition "The Best in Profession" of the VII Regional Forum of Rural Youth in the nomination "Economist", the prize was awarded to a student of the Faculty of Business and Social Technologies Angelika Klimenko.
